Friday Events will all be held at the LMAS District Health Department (14150 Hamilton Lake Rd, Newberry, MI 49868)
- Friday 6:30PM Volunteer Meeting
- Friday 7:00PM Registration Check-In
- Please make sure you arrive in time so you can process all necessary paperwork and your race bib, sign our sponsor banners, and have Vet Records checked BEFORE the driver’s meeting
- Friday 7:30PM Mandatory Driver’s Meeting
- Silent Auction will be open and available to bid!
Saturday, January 10
- SATURDAY RACES START — Saturday 9:00AM — Headquarters Lake State Forest Campground
- The Junior Class will kick us off on Saturday morning at 9:00AM. Other classes to follow at 10:00AM (Starting sheets with specific start times will be posted on the website no later than 1/8/25)
- MUSHERS: Parking lot will be open by 6AM. Early Parking is encouraged!! Vet Checks start at 7:30AM
- Concessions:
- We are working with one of our awesome local food truck vendors to ensure we have a variety of options of warm food and drink available!
- Hot food, Hot chocolate, & Coffee!!
- Warming Fire

- Saturday Evening Dinner! — LMAS District Health Department, doors open at 5:30.
- $15/person, tickets available at door. All proceeds will be going to Newberry High School Athletes!! Please come out to meet & support the community that sponsors this race and ensures its longevity!
- While this event is not mandatory, we encourage you to come support our Newberry Community, as well as support your fellow mushers who will be receiving awards! Please be aware that if you choose not to attend, you will NOT be eligible to receive Saturday day money awards.
- Volunteer Appreciation Party

- SUNDAY RACES START — 9:00AM — (Pro Classes Only) Headquarters Lake State Forest Campground.
- Sunday Awards on site at the conclusion of the days’ events.
