The Twelfth Annual 2010 Tahquamenon Sled Dog Race will be held January 8, 2011.
2010 RACE RESULTS ARE TABULATED!!!
Congratulations to Rene Marchildren, winner of the 12-dog Pro-class race; Joann Fortier in the 8 dog Pro; Caitlin Curtice in the 6 dog Sportsman race; Gary Asprey in the 6 dog Purebreed class; Stu Stirrett, winning the 4dog Sport race; all the young participants in the 2-3 dog Sport race (see the Sportsmanship award below); and Hanna Studem, who won the Skijoring event.
Congratulations and THANK YOU to our Volunteers of the Year, Deb and Daryl Mendrick, and John Waltman. And congratulations to this year's recipients of the Kenny Harris Sportsmanship Award, Sarah Channey, Emily Curtice, Emma VanderMeulen and Jake VanderMeulen for their most excellent sportsmanship in helping each other finish their 2-3 dog race.
